Christian student group is too Christian
The Christian Union at Birmingham University in England has been suspended and had its bank account frozen because the group refused to open its membership and leadership positions to students of other religions. The Birmingham Guild of Students, which was responsible for the suspension, also asked the Christian Union to remove the words “men” and “women” from their constitution because they could be seen as excluding transsexuals and transgendered people.
