It can be hen's eggs (only in made-up condition), nonfat cottage cheese or small amount of fatless minced meat. You should give such forages to your bird once a week, but in moult period it will be two times a week and if it is a period of breeding - give it each day. Pieces of chalk or small stones should be also included in an extra feeder in a bird's cage. They contain calcium and important for normal digestion of a bird.
